What I Learned About Getting Instagram Followers

Instagram Followers

Instagram is full of beautiful people doing fun things, which makes it a great place to learn about fashion or get inspiration for your own projects. But if you’re looking to grow your Instagram followers (and who isn’t?).

There are some things you need to know about Imginn Instagram. I’m here to help you avoid those mistakes so that you can start getting regular engagement on this platform in no time.

Don’t post mediocre content

  • You don’t have to post mediocre content.
  • Don’t just post to get likes, comments and views.
  • If you’re posting just to get followers on Instagram, then your account will be less valuable because it’s not worth anything unless you write good content that people want to read.

Your goal is not to get as many Instagram Followers as possible it’s about getting quality connections with real people who care about what they see in their feed and want more of it.

Post on a consistent schedule

Consistency is key to building an audience and getting engagement, so it’s important to post at times when your audience is most active. Posting too often or too infrequently won’t help you grow your following; instead, find the right balance between frequency and quality of content that works for you.

For example, if you’re running a podcast or blog (or both), posting at least once every two weeks would be ideal but don’t feel like you should be sharing more than that. The key here is finding what works for YOU, not everyone else.

Don’t post a photo until you’ve run out of ideas

As a photographer, you should always have a backlog of photos. This is especially true if you’re new to Instagram and are trying to build an audience.

The more content that’s available for your followers, the better chance they have at finding something they like and if they do find something good, then you can build off the relationship with them by sharing more of those photos in the future.

Learn how to use hashtags

  • Use hashtags. Hashtags are how people find your content, and they’re a great way to increase the reach of your Instagram posts by helping them get more exposure.
  • Use up to 30 hashtags per post. You can use up to 30 hashtags per photo, video or story on Instagram (as long as they’re relevant).
  • Choose tags that are relevant. When choosing which tags go into the caption, try not just putting random ones together but instead choose ones that relate specifically back towards what’s happening within each image/video etc.

Find your own aesthetic

Your Instagram feed is a reflection of you, your style and what matters to you. You should be proud of it and feel good about sharing it with the world. However, there are some things that are important to keep in mind when it comes to finding your aesthetic:

  • Be consistent: Don’t just post one picture from a shoot one day and then another picture from the same shoot on another day later on in the week or month. This can create confusion for followers who may not understand why they aren’t seeing anything new from you all week long. It also makes it difficult for them to know what kind of content might interest them most since there’s no consistency between posts overall.

Get active in Instagram Stories

  • Use Instagram Stories to share behind-the-scenes content.
  • Engage with your followers.
  • Promote a new product or service.
  • Conduct surveys, polls and quizzes on Instagram Stories.

Use Instagram polls

Instagram polls are a great way to engage your audience. They can be used for anything from asking questions to voting on something, and they’re an excellent way to get feedback from followers.

One of my favorite ways of using Instagram polls is as follows:

I’ll create an Instagram poll with a question like “What was your first pet?” Then I’ll let people vote on what their favorite animal was growing up. You could do this with animals, plants or even foods! If there’s enough data from this one post alone, then you could build off that by creating more posts around the same topic so that it becomes its own series.

It takes time and effort but you can grow your following on Instagram if you stick to it

It is important to remember that Instagram follows are not given out randomly. They’re earned organically by posting quality content and interacting with your audience.

This means you have to take time to establish a consistent presence on the platform, which can be difficult if you’re new or just getting started in your business.

You should also keep in mind that while growing your following takes time and effort, it’s worth it when you see how many people will be interested in what you have to say.

I hope this has been helpful to you in your quest to grow on Instagram. Picuki can be a tricky platform, but it’s worth persevering with. And don’t forget, as long as you are doing something you love (and enjoy) then who cares how many followers you have.
